The EASA Category B1.2 – Piston Engines Aeroplane program at UKCBC, in collaboration with Omega Aviation Academy1, equips you with the theoretical and hands-on expertise needed to inspect, maintain, and certify piston-engine aeroplanes. This 24-month KHDA & EASA-recognized program blends classroom learning, real-world training, and professional certification to launch your career in general aircraft maintenance engineering.

Key features of the course:

Students will master the maintenance, repair, and certification of aircraft structures, systems, and piston engines, qualifying them to issue certificates of release to service post-maintenance of aircraft or component under global aircraft maintenance engineering standards 

  • Dual Recognition: Graduates receive a Certificate of Recognition valid in all EU countries and endorsed by KHDA in the UAE. 
  • Real Aircraft Experience: Includes practical training using real tools and manuals in a live aircraft environment.

Academic
  • High school diploma preferably with background in Mathematics and Physics
English proficiency
  • IELTS 5.0 or UKCBC internal test (minimum 50%)
Age
  • Minimum 18 years at enrollment
Medical
  • Valid medical fitness certificate
