The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Engineering provides a practical introduction to students aged 16 and above and working professionals pursuing a career in engineering. This 12-month programme emphasizes hands-on learning in order to instill practical capabilities essential for progressing in the engineering field. With a focus on developing technical knowledge and gaining industrial skills in students, this qualification enables students to build a fundamental understanding on engineering applications and techniques.
This course offers a pathway into different fields of engineering like electrical/electronic and mechanical engineering. This vocational qualification covers every aspect of equipping students with professional skills to gain admission in a university or gain entry-level employment.

Course Assessments
The BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business is divided into several assessment units.
BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Engineering includes internal assessments. Assessments in each module are structured to meet specified learning outcomes and develop the skills necessary to allow students to thrive during their higher education.
Progression
Course Structure
Throughout the course, students are required to complete 600 Notional Learning hours (NLH) including 360 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
Qualification Credit Value: 60 credit value
Total Number of Units: 8 units (3 mandatory units & 5 specialist units).
