The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business offers a perfect platform for students and professionals with the ambition to pursue a career in various fields of business. Suitable for students – aged 18 and above, with an academic background or related work experience in Business, this HND programme offers a practical learning framework from which to develop the skills required to succeed in the field. This vocational course is designed in consultation with employers, qualified higher education providers and business experts. This process provides students with a syllabus that balances the future professional needs with academic progression.
This programme offers a strong emphasis on hands-on learning along with the development of essential knowledge and understanding of the business sector. This course develops your ability to understand business issues, analyze management problems and find workable solutions. Specifically designed to address an increasing need for skilled professionals, the Pearson provides a clear line of sight towards a higher education with transfers to over 200 universities worldwide or towards employment in the different areas of business.
The Higher National Diploma in Business is evaluated through a variety of assessments. For many units, the practical demonstration of skills is mandatory in addition to students to carry out their own research and analysis, working independently or as part of a team.

- Work-based projects.
- Academic posters, displays, leaflets.
- PowerPoint (or similar) presentations.
- Recordings of interviews/role plays.
