The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering involves both internal and external assessments. Assessments in each module is structured to meet the specified learning outcomes.

- 60% overall grades with 55% in Math and Physics for CBSE, American, Filipino and Thanaweya Amma in Grade 12 exams.
- IB minimum of 24 points, with 2 subjects at higher level which must include grade 3 in Math or Physics.
- 3 C`s at AS Levels including Math and Physics.
- 2 D`s at A Levels including Math and Physic.
- Minimum 4 C4 grades including Math and Physics in WAEC curriculum.
- BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering.
- Relevant work experience.
- Additional English language proficiency may apply where medium of teaching is not English.
