UKCBC Dubai welcomes students from all over the world for September 2019 intake.

Students from around 30 countries kick off their academic journey in the field of business, computing, IT, engineering and accounting with the UK based college this week

Dubai, UAE, September 17, 2019 – UK College of Business and Computing (UKCBC) Dubai campus officially kicked off the 2019-20 academic year, welcoming new and progressing students to their modern campus in Dubai International Academic City.

The UKCBC student induction week which runs from 15 – 19 September, is the college’s annual orientation to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of the qualifications, study model as well as College’s facilities and extracurricular activities.

BTEC Level 2, 3 and 4 Business Students

Students aspiring to achieve excellence in the field of Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Computing and Accounting were introduced to their respective faculty and staff, who mapped their career progression path for this academic year.

Dalton Vincent, Director of Studies at UKCBC welcomed the students with his address and said ‘Being at College brings with it numerous opportunities to excel in your chosen career fields. During this time, we will ensure that you are well supported to pursue a rigorous and rewarding academic journey which would help you become some of the most sought-after professionals. With two decades of experience providing students quality vocational education in the UK, the Dubai campus is well-equipped to develop practical skills tailored to help students gain a competitive edge in their career. We focus on building on the students’ capabilities and inspire them to be go-getters allowing them to move forward to achieve their career goals.’

Students also took part in engaging icebreaker activities which allowed them to display their proactivity and social skills, making them more comfortable in their new learning environment.

We have put together an exciting week for students which also includes team building activities, orientation with different departments, a photo challenge as well as lots of goodies to take back with them. Our students also benefitted from free vouchers & giveaways from corporate partners such as Virgin Mobiles UAE, Tim Hortons & Careem UAE.  With 50 nationalities and student numbers growing to six times our maiden cohort since September 18’, we are truly thankful to our students, parents and partners who have placed immense trust in us.’ commented Ttina Narsian, Head of Sales and Marketing, UKCBC Dubai.

Our first batch of BTEC Level 3 Engineering students
